MNS chief Raj Thackeray has slammed Shobhaa De for her tweet supporting statehood for Mumbai. He said separating Mumbai from Maharashtra is not easy as getting a divorce.

De tweeted: Maharashtra and Mumbai??? Why not? Mumbai has always fancied itself as an independent entity, anyway. This game has countless possibilities.

The BJP, Sena and NCP have asked her to delete the tweet.
