Can have hearty meal for Rs. 12 in Mumbai, Rs. 5 in Delhi: Congress leaders

In attempts to defend the claim that poverty has declined by 22 per cent since the government came to power, Congress spokespersons are barreling new controversies.

After Raj Babbar said a hearty meal in Mumbai can be bought for Rs. 12, another Congress leader, Rasheed Masood, has said Rs. 5 in Delhi is sufficient for a meal.

"You can eat a meal in Delhi in Rs 5, I don't know about Mumbai. You can get a meal for Rs. 5 near Jama Masjid," Masood said. Read
