Batla House: Slain cop's wife wants strongest possible punishment

The wife of Delhi Police Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma who was killed by alleged IM terrorist Shahzad Ahmed says, now that it has been proved that the Batla House encounter was genuine, the punishment should be swift.

"I will not say I want the death sentence, but the strongest possible punishment should be given. I'm happy with the order, but the government should set an example by delivering exemplary punishment. We have lived with insinuations that the encounter was fake. He (slain inspector MC Sharma) was an only son, imagine what his parents went through," she said.
