Mumbai pothole death: FIR filed against dead woman

There has been a bizarre twist in the death case of a 48-year-old woman in an accident while trying to avoid a pothole in Mumbai. The police have now now filed an FIR against the deceased and in its FIR the police have cited death due to negligence citing the fact that the woman was not wearing a helmet.

The 48-year-old woman died in Mumbai after falling from a two-wheeler while trying to avoid a pothole on a road in Vasai. The incident took place on Friday near the Vasai rail bridge. She succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. The woman who had her daughter pillion riding with her, died after suffering head injuries. Read the full story here.
