Worms, insects in mid-day meal in Amritsar

Update on the insects and worms found in a mid-day meal in Amritsar. CNN IBN reports that the food in a mid-day meal kitchen in Amritsar was found to be contaminated with worms, during an inspection that happened in the aftermath of the Chhapra incident.

The children in the school have been saying that the water used to cook the food is bitter and they have found worms in food served to them.

In the school in Nevyeli, the 66 students who fainted are said to be stable. A medical team has rushed from Cuddalore.
