Live! Maruti violence: DM imposes Section 144

The District Magistrate today imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC in areas surrounding Maruti company in Gurgaon to avoid any confrontation between villagers and agitating sacked workers of the company.

District Magistrate Shekhar Vidyarthi has imposed the orders in whole area of IMT Manesar, Maruti Company at Manesar, Devi Lal Park Manesar, National Highway 8 and Mini Secretariat Gurgaon, under which assembling of five or more persons and carrying of weapons have been prohibited.

Holding any kind of procession and dharna at these places has also been banned.
