Tipsy Irish MP pulls female MP on lap during abortion debate

A 44-year-old politician pulling a female member of Parliament directly onto his lap in the Irish Parliament has drawn criticism from all quarters. Tom Barry, a representative of Ireland''s center-right Fine Gael political party, during a debate over an abortion bill in the Irish Parliament had vigorously pulled ine Collins, holding her awkwardly for a few moments.

Barry has admitted that he had been drinking before the session, the report added. Barry also apologized to Collins and clarified that the act was absolutely a big mistake. Watch
