Congress today alleged that the mindset of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has become "criticism-centric" toward every development initiative taken by the UPA government.

"We don't expect any constructive comments from Narendra Modi as his mindset has become such that he criticise all development initiatives taken by the Central government," AICC spokesman Prem Chand Singh told reporters here.

Briefing the media about National Food Security Ordinance, Singh was recalling Modi's criticism of the UPA government's food security programme. Modi had on Sunday said the Centre was under the impression that merely bringing in the bill would lead to food reaching the needy.
