Live! Monsoon session of Parl postponed to 3rd week of Aug, allows Oppn to chew on Food Bill

The monsoon session of Parliament has been postponed to the third week of August. The reason for the delay is ostensibly to allow the Congress-ruled states to implement food security measures for at least a month before the session starts. This means the Congress can then test the impact of the food security ordinance and turn around skeptics from the Opposition before it comes up to be made a law.
