Indian-American Congressional hopeful raises nearly $2 mn

A former Indian-American official of the Obama administration, Ro Khanna, has raised nearly $2 million for his campaign to enter the US Congress from the Silicon Valley. 

Fighting against senior Democratic leader Mike Honda, who has been endorsed by top party leaders including President Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, the leader in the House of Representatives, Khanna has managed to get a substantial amount from top Silicon Valley big wigs.
