Ishrat Jahan case: NK Amin's bail plea rejected

Ishrat Jahan case: A special CBI court has rejected the bail plea of NK Amin. Amin, one of accused cops in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case, sought default bail from the special CBI court last week. Amin's lawyer, Ruturaj Nanavati, sought bail for Amin on the ground that the CBI failed to file a complete chargesheet within the stipulated 90 days. The mandatory period of 90 days for Amin ended on Wednesday evening, but the CBI came up with the chargesheet an hour before.
