Army jawan goes missing with ammunition

An Army jawan has gone missing with a service rifle and ammunition from a camp in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today. Sepoy Shrikant Tukaram went missing on the night of July 6 with his INSAS rifle, three magazines and 60 rounds from the Army camp, SSP, Udhampur, Anil Magotra said. On a complaint lodged by Army, a case has been registered last evening and search to track him is going on, Magotra said. Tukaram belongs to Maharashtra and is a jawan of 874 Battalion of Army.
