Dinesh Trivedi likely to quit Trinamool, may join BJP: Sources

Reports our correspondent from New Delhi: Former railway minister Dinesh Trivedi is likely join the Bharatiya Janata Party and contest from Gujarat. A close friend of Narendra Modi, Trivedi hails from Kutch.

Indications are that Trivedi will convey his decision to Mamta Banerjee and resign from the Trinamool Congress after the monsoon session. Trivedi is discussing his future plans and may meet Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi. He would like to maintain a cordial relationship with the Congress.
