Pakistani intruder blows himself up near Indian border

A suspected Pakistani intruder died near an Indian Army post in the Saujian sector of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir today, when an improvised explosive device or IED that he was carrying blew up, reports NDTV.

The Indian Army has said that it spotted the man and shot at him. It is not clear yet if the man blew himself up or then a bullet hit the IED he was carrying and caused the explosion. Details awaited.
