Vicky Nanjappa reports from Bengaluru: Former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Thursday said that he is confident of forming the government after the next elections.

The Karnataka Janatha Party will get a majority and will form the government, Yeddyurappa said at a press conference in Bengaluru.

His press conference came a day after 13 former BJP MLAs formally joined the KJP.

Yeddyurappa did not indicate if there would be more exodus from the BJP into his party, but added that those who wished for the betterment of Karnataka were free to join him.

On the survival of the BJP government in Karnataka, he refused to comment, but hinted that some more legislators may join him soon.
