Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray hinted at a possibility of reconciliation with estranged cousin and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray, reports CNN-IBN.

"The Shiv Sena and MNS may come together to avoid split in Marathi vote", Uddhav said in an interview to the party mouthpiece Saamna. "I can't rule out working with Raj. We have to sit and discuss this."

"Agar Raj Thackeray Shiv Sena ke sath aana chahte hain toh hum unka swagat hi karenge. Shiv sena ke sath dil se aanewalon ka swagat hi hoga (If Raj Thackeray wants an alliance with the Shiv Sena, we will welcome him.  We welcome everyone who is genuinely willing to join hands with us)," Uddhav said when asked about his reaction if cousin Raj came to him with a proposal for an alliance.
