Madras HC's ruling on' Vishwaroopam' likely today

The Madras high court is expected to pass an order today on whether the ban on actor-director Kamal Haasan's film 'Vishwaroopam' should be lifted. A judge who watched the film on the weekend had advised Haasan, who has also produced the film, to settle amicably with the government, reports NDTV.

Yesterday, reports emerged that Haasan has been asked to edit his mega-budget thriller by nearly an hour to ensure it releases in theatres. However, sources say the actor is unlikely to agree.
