Abhishek Mande reports: Shah Rukh Khan said at the press meet, "Do not sensationalise and hence trivialise matters of national interest".

"I don't understand the basis of this controversy," he said, adding that the controversy had arisen because people had not read his article.

Khan also clarified that the article was not ghost written and he had written it himself.

"People use my name and statements to attach any positive or negative sentiment to it," he said.
