Appoint Lokayukta in 2 months: HC to Rajasthan govt

The Rajasthan high court today directed the state government to appoint a Lokayukta in two months.

It also directed the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition in case the state government failed to appoint the Lokayukta within the specified time-limit.

The order was passed by a Division Bench comprising Justice N K Jain and Justice J K Ranka on a PIL filed by one Krishan Murari Lal Asthana.
