Need more time to decide on Telangana: Congress

The Centre has sought more time to decide on the demand for a separate state of Telangana.

Seeking to downplay the 'deadline' to decide on the Telangana issue, which ends today, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said the Congress-led government needed more time.

"We will invite the Andhra Pradesh CM and other leaders of Telangana to discuss the issue," he said.
