Mauritius president undergoes ayurvedic treatment in Kerala

Mauritius President Rajkeswur Purryag today left Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala in Malappuram district after a two-week long treatment.

Purryag, who received Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas conference at Kochi early this month, arrived Arya Vaidya Sala, a century old institution engaged in the practice and propagation of Ayurveda, on January 10 along with wife Aneetah and two security officials.

He was under the treatment of an expert medical team headed by its Managing Trustee Dr P K Warrier, official sources said.
