Jaipur Lit Fest starts amid warnings, security

The Jaipur Literature Festival starts today amid strict security arrangements, after the organisers received threats from some fundemental organisations.

Some groups had warned organisers against inviting authors who hurt religious sentiments of the community, including the four who had read out passages from Salman Rushdie's banned Satanic Verses at the event last year.
