Pathology tests made free in Madhya Pradesh hospitals

The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to provide free pathology tests in government hospitals and health centres from next month.

The state Cabinet, at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan yesterday, approved free pathology tests with a view to make available more health facilities to the people, an official release said today.

The Cabinet has also sanctioned special medical allowance for doctors in the state, the release said.
