Rahul Gandhi to lead Congress in 2014 elections

The decision to make Rahul Gandhi vice president was announced by Congress head spokesperson Janardhan Dwivedi.

The decision to elevate Rahul Gandhi was made after a meet of the Congress Working Committee. The resolution on Rahul's appointment at the CWC was moved by senior leader A K Antony.

Dwivedi made it clear that Rahul Gandhi will lead the party in the 2014 general elections. He said that Rahul's appointment was endorsed by all members of the CWC .
