Delhi women's helpline: 70% calls from 6 pm-midnight

Women are unsafe in Delhi when it's dark - a fact confirmed by the data analysis from the recently-launched 'Woman in Distress' helpline number 181.The helpline, which was launched on December 31 last year, has found favour among women. Whether they are followed by stalkers or they are facing some kind of domestic violence, they often prefer to dial 181 to register their grievances. Read more.
