Delhi gang-rape case moved to fast-track court

CNN IBN: The Delhi gang-rape case has been transferred to the fast-track court from the district court at Saket. It's a month today, since the 23-year-old physiotherapy student was gang-raped on a moving bus in New Delhi. After unprecedented street protests over the incident, the government had promised "fast-track" the trial.

The fast-track courts are designed to avoid delays, incompetence and corruption ensure quick justice for the victms. The hearing on the case will now begin on January 21.
