Algeria hostage crisis worsens

The hostage crisis in Algeria is getting worse.

Algeria has launched air strikes at a gas field where Islamic militants are reportedly holding several people -- including some foreigners -- as hostages.

According to media reports, 35 hostages and 15 militants have been killed in the air strikes. Twenty hostages have managed to escape.
