1 killed in sectarian clash in Lucknow

One person was killed while over a dozen others were injured in sectarian clash that broke out in old city area here today, police said.

Tension broke out between two communities during a religious ceremony in Wazirganj area, leading to firing between them, they said.

Principal Secretary Home R M Srivastava told PTI that one person was killed in the incident. The injured were admitted to a hospital.
