Visa-on-arrival for Pak senior citizens on hold
January 15, 2013  14:39
Despite the repeated ceasefire violations, India and Pakistan were set to enter a new era of relations with the implementation of a liberal visa regime between the two nations beginning today. However, news comes in that the visas are on hold for Pakistani senior citizens due to technical reasons.

Pakistani nationals above 65 years of age were to be given a 45-day single entry visa on arrival with immigration officials at the Integrated Check Post at Attari. Children below 12 years of age can also get 45-day-visa at the Attari-Wagah check post.

MHA sources however say there is no change in policy.
