What is expected to happen at the flag meet

At the flat meeting, India will register a strong protest against the killing of two Indian soldiers on January 8 by Pakistani troops and warn against repetition of such an incident. India will also demand the severed head of Lance Naik Hemraj Singh, who was reportedly killed by Pakistani troops.

At the press conference held earlier in New Delhil, Army Chief Bikram Singh admitted that "tactical errors have taken place in the patrol on which we lost two soldiers. We will enquire into the matter later."

He also admitted to an earlier incident where Indian soldiers were beheaded in 2011.

On the Indian Army per se, Gen Bikram Singh says, "There are no fissures in the Indian Army leadership.

On AFSPA: We should not dilute the provisions of AFSPA. It is an act that enables the soldier to operate in an asymmetric environment: Army Chief
