Meira Kumar to launch new apps for MPs

Speaker of Lok Sabha Meira Kumar will launch an ambitious plan for members of Parliament on January 26.

MPs will now be able to read-interact-print the verbatim reporting's of the Lok Sabha proceedings on their iPad's.

The latest apps and improvisations were suggested by S S Ahluwalia former Rajya Sabha member and now digitalisation advisor to the speaker of Lok Sabha. MPs will soon be able to read regional newspapers on their iPads and as many as 150 dailies in 18 languages will be made available to them.

Weekly magazines and links to television news channels will also be added later.
