January 12, 2013  13:36
Condemning the brutal killing of two Indian soldiers by Pakistani forces along the Line of Control, former Army Chief General V K Singh today said here that the government should harden its stand on the issue, as it was a clear violation of the Geneva Convention.

"The government should harden its stand on the hostility shown by Pakistani forces which claimed lives of two jawans. The killing was against humanity and indeed a violation of our Geneva convention (which lays down how captured soldiers should be treated)," Gen Singh who arrived from Delhi on his way to Multai in Madhya Pradesh, told reporters here today.
