India REJECTS UN probe into killing of jawans

Just in: Finance minister P Chidambaram has turned down a UN probe into the savage killings of two jawans by Pakistani troops. Chidambaram said there were no ceasefire violations by the Indian army and India does not want to internationalise the issue.

Pakistan on Wednesday denied involvement of its troops in an attack in which two Indian soldiers were killed and said it was prepared to hold investigations through the UN Military Observer Group on the recent ceasefire violations on the Line of Control.
