Moderate earthquake hits North-East India

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale rocked North-East India on Wednesday morning at 7.13 am. The epicentre of the quake was along the Indo-Myanmar border.

Tremors were felt in Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur.

So far no injuries have been reported.
