Ramkrishna Math wants Hindu to apologise for Vivekananda pic

This photograph of Swami Vivekananda used by The Hindu has ruffled feathers at the Ramkrishna Mission. The photograph, with the caption, Celebrating Manhood: Swami Vivekananda's masculine photographic-pose is revealing of how Indian nationalism encouraged a deeply masculine notion of modernity, has prompted the mission to write to the Hindu protesting that the piece, 'Taking the aggression out of masculinity', were totally inappropriate to the context of the article. Incidentally, the Ramkrishna Math and Mission have been entirely silent on the remarks made by Asaram Bapu blaming the rape victim for the incident.
