JMM MLAs to meet Jharkhand Guv today
January 08, 2013  09:20
Jharkhand's ruling coalition partner Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has decided to withdraw support to the Arjun Munda-led Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state, pushing it to a minority, in a new twist to the tussle for power between the two allies.

JMM chief Shibu Soren has said that the 18 legislators of the party in the state assembly would meet Governor Syed Ahmed on Tuesday to hand over their resignations

The 28-month limit for ruling by the BJP, according to JMM, ended on January 10.

Relations between BJP and JMM have come under strain since Chief Minister Arjun Munda, in a written reply to a letter from JMM on January 3, rejected that there was an agreement between the two parties on 'rotation of power' after 28 months in office.
