Hate speech: Owaisi reaches hospital for medical tests

Meanwhile, police teams have escorted Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi from his residence in Hyderabad to a hospital for medical tests. The MIM leader avoided arrest yesterday citing medical reasons and had sought four days time to appear before the police. The medical test will determine whether Owaisi is fit for further questioning. Owaisi, who returned from London on Monday, is facing a slew of cases for his hate speeches that he delivered in December last year.
