The Delhi high court today extended by five more days its permission to a 25-year-old youth to hold peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar against the December 16 brutal gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old paramedic.

"The petitioner is allowed to hold peaceful protest till January 11," Justice S P Garg said and disposed of the plea of Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, president of Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena, that he was 'illegally detained' for 10 days and was not allowed to take part in the anti-rape protests here.
