There will be a mass fast on January 5 at Jantar Mantar over the Delhi gang rape. The protestors basically wants five demands met, which include:
Presence of CCTV cameras when the FIR is being lodged at a police station.

1 Time bound hearings at fast track courts

2 Eight innocent men who have been detained for raising their voices against affected women. Police have registered false cases against them. They must be withdrawn.

3 That Delhi police commissioner Neeraj Kumar be suspended.

4 Peoples representatives in Parliament or legislative assemblies who are sex offenders be suspended. And those who have cases against them for abusing women be barred from contesting elections.

5. Begin at home. If there are any sex offenders at home, bring them to justice.
