Lack of parking space coming in way of more cluster buses

Despite concerns of pollution and women's safety, the Delhi Transport Corpo-ration (DTC), which runs 5,500 buses every day, has failed to scale up its fleet. The transport department is struggling to increase the number of cluster buses -- monitored by the government but run by private operators -- from 400 in five clusters to 5,500 in 17 clusters. But the plan is on hold because of lack of parking space for these buses. Read more
