NPF forging ahead of Congress in Nagaland

The Ruling Naga Peoples Front (NPF) was way ahead of opposition Congress in Nagaland where counting of votes is underway. NPF is leading in 16 and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is forging ahead of his closest Congress candidate in North Angami seat by about 4,500 votes. Congress is leading in 4 and PCC chief S I Jamir is among those forging ahead in Dimapur II seat. He is leading over his nearest independent candidate by about 650 votes. JD(U) was leading in 1 and independents in 3.
