2G case: Vahanvati appears before CBI special court

Our correspondent from New Delhi reports: Attorney General Goolam Vahanavati appeared as a witness in the 2G spectrum allocation scam before a Central Bureau of Investigation court in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Vahanvati's testimony is being recorded before Special Judge O P Saini. Defence lawyers will cross-examine Vahanvati, who is the country's top legal official.
