Three doctors from Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where the 23-year-old medical student gangraped in a Delhi bus in December died of her injuries, will depose in the case, beginning on Monday afternoon.

The doctors, including Dr Paul Chui, a senior forensic pathologist who prepared the autopsy report, will depose before the special fast-track court hearing the case through video conferencing. Dr Chui's testimony will be recorded today.

On Tuesday, another pathologist Dr Tan Peng Hui, who prepared the orthodental report on bite marks on the body of the student, will testify, as will the hospital's medical director, Dr Angela Thomas.

All the three doctors will also be cross examined by defence lawyers once they have recorded their statements in court.
