Bomb defused at Delhi Cantt, unclaimed bag sent to lab

The unclaimed bag that was found outside the Army Base Hospital in the Delhi Cantonment area today, is believed to have held an explosive device. The Delhi Police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot after getting the alert and claim that the bag contained a device with circuits. The entire area has been cordoned off and security has been beefed up in the city. A team of NSG has also been called in for investigation. Army bomb experts put the bag in a container used to defuse bombs and sent it to the Forensic Sciences Laboratory for further tests. The bag has been put in a defusion container and has been sent to the forensic lab. -- CNN IBN
