119 injured in Hyderabad blasts, 6 critical: Shinde

Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that he visited the Hyderabad blast site this morning along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and other senior officials. He said that 14 people have been killed in the blasts and 119 are injured, six among them critical.

"There was general alert out for the entire national. I don't think the police have failed," said Shinde as he addressed the media.

The HM said that all medical expenses for the blast victims will be borne by the state government.

The prime minister has given a compensation of Rs 6 lakh for the kin of those killed in the blasts and Rs 50,000 for those injured.
