29 terrorists killed in air strikes in Pakistan

Air strikes by combat jets today killed 29 terrorists and destroyed several hideouts in Pakistan's lawless tribal belt, security officials said.

The air strikes targeted terrorist positions in Orakzai and Khyber tribal regions. In Orakzai Agency, raids were carried out at Arghanju, Saparsok and Tanboh. 

Nine terrorists were killed and several others were injured, security officials were quoted as saying by TV news channels. Three terrorist hideouts were destroyed in the area.

Jets targetted terrorist positions in Dawathoi area of Khyber Agency and killed 20 rebels, including a commander. Four hideouts were destroyed in the area, officials said.
