HC gives bail to assistant directors in drunk driving case

In other news: In a relief to Mark Samuel, the assistant director of Salman Khan-starrer 'Dabaang-2', and his friend Vidushi Sood, held in a case of rash and drunk driving, the Bombay High Court has granted them bail while quashing an order of a magistrate who had ordered their custody.

Both Samuel and Sood were arrested on February 15 after a chase in suburban Oshiwara and produced before a magistrate, who had remanded them in custody till February 21. They were booked for over speeding on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli link road and also misbehaving with police. Police also alleged that Samuel was drunk.
