WB chief secy and top cop meet Governor Narayanan

A day after West Bengal Governor M K Narayanan criticised the sudden removal of Kolkata Police Commissioner R K Pachnanda, the new DGP Naparajit Mukherjee and Chief Secretary Sanjoy Mitra today held a meeting with the governor.

Both Mitra and Mukherjee went to the Raj Bhavan to meet the governor.

Narayanan, a former IPS officer and National Security Advisor to the Union government, had on Thursday questioned the transfer of the Kolkata police chief, following the killing of Special Branch Sub-inspector Tapas Chowdhury on February 12.
