Ex-Air Chief: Bribery charges baseless, had retired

Former Indian Air Force chief SP Tyagi has denied bribery charges in the $750 million chopper deal with Italian firm Finmeccanica. Tyagi was allegedly bribed by the company to swing the contract in its favour. Tyagi says he is innocent and that the deal was finalised three years after he retired as air chief. He said the charges were baseless.
