Iftikaar Geelani detained, released later

Iftikaar Geelani, the son-in-law of Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, was detained along with his wife in Delhi on Saturday morning.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani was also put under house arrest in the wake of the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

While Iftikaar was released after his detention triggered a furor, his wife is still being held, according to some media reports.
